NEW YEOs

YEO’S – A testament to entrepreneurial spirit, resilience and innovation

With our roots tracing back as far back as 1900, Yeo Hiap Seng Group - better known as Yeo’s - has grown from strength to strength, from our humble beginnings as a striving enterprise in pre-war Singapore, to a food & beverage conglomerate that serves up its smorgasbord of Asian food and beverages, including the iconic Yeo’s Chrysanthemum Tea and Yeo’s Soy Bean Milk, in more than 30 markets in the Asia-Pacific, Europe, North America and Oceania regions.

We are glad to join the Singapore Pavilion in celebrating the spirit of ingenuity, creativity and entrepreneurism embodied by Singaporeans. As a 120-year-old heritage brand that has grown together in tandem with Singapore, Yeo’s has a long history of product innovation, such as being the first manufacturer in the world to package Asian beverages in Tetra Brik aseptic cartons using ultra high temperature (UHT) processing and the first to offer its popular curry chicken in a convenient canned form.

Echoing Singapore’s continued commitment towards building a sustainable future, we are also constantly striving to minimise the environmental impact of our operations and production processes.

In collaboration with Singapore’s Public Utilities Board (PUB) and Nanyang Technological University, we completed the installation of a water recycling plant at our Senoko factory in Singapore that is expected to recycle up to 70% of the wastewater collected from our production processes; the nutrient-rich soya pulp residue (okara) generated from the manufacturing process of our soy bean milk is subsequently redirected to farms and off-takers to be used as animal feed; and as part of our efforts to reduce our carbon footprint, we are also working on initiatives such as the use of solar panels and motion-sensor LED lights; reduced dependence on diesel; and the utilisation of steam energy generated during production.

We remain committed to bring innovative and healthy products, known for its natural ingredients, authentic flavours and exceptional quality, to our consumers and the community, and we hope to share the traditional tastes of Singapore and Asia with the world through our partnership with the Singapore Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai.

With the growing concern of global warming,Yeo’s has taken initiatives to tap onto green energy to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Some of these green initiatives include the use of solar panels, reduced dependence on diesel, motion-sensor LED lights and the utilization of steam energy generated during production.
