Sunscreen (Singapore) Pte Ltd

Sunscreen Singapore is proud to be part of the Singapore Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai, and to showcase their range of local products and designs on a global platform. With the unique climatic conditions of Dubai’s desert environment, Sunscreen Singapore welcomes the opportunity to test its systems to the limit, and remains confident in the engineering capabilities and features of its products.

Sunscreen's participation in the Singapore Pavilion marks the first time that its Rollite™ Zipp system - typically used to mitigate acoustic environments to preserve indoor sound levels, and to protect balconies and patios from rain and sun - is tested in a desert environment.  The unique Rollite™ Rollscreen systems are created with top-grade materials from various manufacturers worldwide, with primary components of this installation coming from European manufacturers. These systems will be repurposed after Expo to be refreshed for a new lease of life in other local installations.

Keeping to the spirit of continual innovation, testament from the early days of conceptualising Sunscreen Singapore, new technologies and systems are constantly being sourced worldwide and developed locally by our company. The goal: to offer best quality products that effectively work to reduce energy expenditure in buildings, whilst creating a pleasant internal environment for occupants within.

Growth can be attributed to our solutions-oriented approach as we partner with individuals, businesses, architectural and design communities as well as governmental agencies, to achieve their own goals of energy conservation, environmental preservation and thoughtful design integration.

This marks the first time we are installing our products in a desert environment, and we are excited to witness how our products will maintain their efficacy while ensuring optimum balance between energy savings and vantage views of the Expo site.
